Pia Heikkurinen

Pia Heikkurinen currently serves as an Expert for the World Circular Economy Forum 2025 at Sitra, advising on the development project concluding in June 2025. Previously, Pia held the position of Secretary General for the Radical Health Festival Helsinki, where significant funding was secured and collaboration between financing partners was facilitated. With extensive experience at Sitra from 2006 to 2022, Pia took on various roles including Event Architect for the HIMSS & Health 2.0 Europe Conference and Theme Expert for Capacity for Renewal. Additional roles included Project Director for the Radical Design Week 2012 in Shanghai and Conference Manager for the European Business Leaders Convention. Educational credentials comprise a Master of Social Sciences in International Relations from the University of Tampere.
