Sean Liu

Sean Liu is a Principal at Sixth Street, a position held since 2023, after serving as an Investment Banking Director in Financial Sponsors at Citi from 2014 to 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Private Equity Analyst/Associate at Axcel, an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Groupon, and a Summer Associate at Citigroup. Educational qualifications consist of an MBA in Finance, Accounting, and Business Law from NYU Stern School of Business, and a BSc in International Business from Copenhagen Business School, supplemented by GLOBE programs at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Notably, Sean Liu co-organized the inaugural student-led Nordic Private Equity Conference.
