Bjarte Finnesand

Bjarte Finnesand has extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management within Skanska, having held various leadership roles since joining the company in May 1992. Positions include Team Leader for functionaries, Chief Safety Representative for all functionaries, and Project Health and Safety Advisor, with responsibilities in developing HSE plans, following up on incidents, and ensuring the implementation of Skanska’s HSE routines. Additionally, Bjarte served as Chief Safety Representative and District Chief Safety Representative, overseeing safety services and coordination within regions. Prior experience at Skanska Norge from 1987 to 2013 included roles such as Club Leader, Team Lead, and Safety Representative, complemented by a vocational qualification in construction and civil engineering. Bjarte's educational background includes training from Arbeidsmiljøskolen and a vocational degree in construction technology from Bergeland vidaregående skole.
