Jill Zuckman

Jill Zuckman is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in crisis communications, strategic communications, and public affairs, currently serving as a Partner at SKDK since November 2011. Previously, Jill served as Assistant to the Secretary and Director of Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Transportation from February 2009 to October 2011. Jill's journalism background includes roles as Chief Congressional Correspondent for The Chicago Tribune from November 2000 to February 2009, and Political Correspondent for The Boston Globe from 1994 to 2000, where coverage focused on Capitol Hill, presidential elections, and governmental affairs. Early reporting experience includes working as a News Reporter for Congressional Quarterly from 1990 to 1994, covering critical issues such as housing, education, labor, and reproductive rights, and as a Reporter for The Milwaukee Journal from 1987 to 1989. Jill Zuckman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University.
