Brian Luke

Captain Brian Luke is in his 29th year serving as an active-duty Naval Officer. He leads the Navy’s smallest specialized officer community - Cyber Warfare Engineers - and currently serves as the innovations and capabilities director on the staff of US Tenth Fleet. Previous tours of duty include Commanding Officer of the Navy Cyber Warfare Development Group, Executive Officer of Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command, information warfare officer aboard USS Harry S. Truman carrier strike group, and two tours at the National Security Agency. Brian earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. He lives in Gambrills, Maryland with his wife and three children.
