Tamsen Reese

Cmdr. (Ret.) Tamsen Reese is our newest board member (2019). She is a decorated veteran and served as a Public Affairs Officer in the U.S. Navy for 20+ years. She was deployed during the onset of the Iraqi War and is the first-ever PAO to deploy with Navy SEALS. Other tours of duty include Director, Navy Office of Information in New York City, Navy Newsdesk Director at the

Pentagon, Director of media relations in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as well as advisor to the Undersecretary of the Navy and Vice Chief of Naval Operations. Tamsen earned her degree in English from the University of Mississippi through a Navy scholarship. She retired in 2016.
