Jason Newman

Jason Newman is an accomplished Principal Engineer with extensive experience in software engineering and UI/UX design, particularly for set-top boxes and constrained platforms. Currently at Sky since January 2016, Jason has developed interactive applications that enhance user experience on legacy hardware while collaborating with product and design teams. As the owner of Mousepickle Ltd since November 2008, Jason focuses on software engineering and UI/UX for various platforms. Previously, Jason held senior roles at Accedo.tv where technical oversight and requirement analysis were key responsibilities, along with consultancy positions that involved UI engineering and project continuity in the broadcasting domain. Jason holds a BA in Engineering and Information Sciences from the University of Cambridge and has a comprehensive background in developing user interfaces across multiple projects and companies.
