Peter Henry

Peter Henry has extensive experience in computer vision and software engineering, currently serving as the Head of Computer Vision at Skydio since July 2015, following roles as Mapping Team Lead and Software Engineer. Prior to Skydio, Peter was a PhD Research Assistant at the University of Washington from September 2007 to July 2015, where research centered on 3D mapping using RGB-D cameras. Additional experience includes a graduate internship at Intel Corporation in 2012 and teaching high school math at the School for Independent Learners, where Peter also led the math department. Peter holds a PhD candidate status from the University of Washington and earned a BA in Computer Science and Math from Pomona College.
