Anindita Mukherjee

Anindita Mukherjee is an accomplished Urban Economist with extensive experience in urban development and policy. Currently serving as an Urban Economist at SkyQuest Technology Consulting Pvt. Ltd. since October 2023, Mukherjee supports the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in project coordination and research. Previous roles include Short Term Consultant at The World Bank, where insights on urban redevelopment strategies for Tanzania were provided, and Senior Policy and Urban Development Specialist at the AIT Global Water & Sanitation Center, focusing on inclusive sanitation policies. Mukherjee has also contributed to initiatives at the Asian Development Bank, the Centre for Policy Research, and the World Bank Group, emphasizing affordable housing and urban sanitation. With a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Calcutta and a Bachelor's degree from St. Xaviers' College Kolkata, Mukherjee brings a strong academic foundation to comprehensive urban planning and governance efforts.
