Brian Yanowski

Brian Yanowski is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive experience in various flight operations and leadership roles. Currently serving as Captain and previously as First Officer for SkyWest Airlines since August 2021, Yanowski's aviation career also includes significant training expertise as Flight Lead and Check Instructor at Coast Flight Training from November 2018 to July 2021. A former Executive Officer at San Diego State University and Lead Instructor at the University of San Diego, Yanowski has a strong background in education and military service, including roles as Senior Operations Manager and Company Commander in the US Army, where responsibilities encompassed operational planning for large organizations and contract negotiations with foreign governments. Yanowski holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University.
