Ilaria Varriale

Ilaria Varriale is a seasoned software engineer with diverse experience in quality assurance and localization. Currently serving as a Software Engineer in the Developer Experience team at Slack since January 2018, Ilaria has previously held roles as a Senior Engineer and Engineer in Quality. Prior to Slack, Ilaria worked at Planet and nWay Inc. as a Software Engineer and Quality Assurance Analyst, respectively. Early career experience includes a position at Apple as a Quality Assurance Analyst, where Ilaria specialized in localization for the Italian market, and various freelance projects in translation and editorial work. Ilaria holds a Bachelor's Degree in History and Philosophy of Science and a Master's Degree in Translation of Post-Colonial Texts from Università di Pisa, along with training from Dev Bootcamp and App Academy in software engineering.
