Mark Waks

Mark Waks is an experienced software engineer and leader with a diverse background in software architecture and engineering across various companies. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Slack since July 2022, Waks focuses on the Scala ZIO engine, specifically adapting the Troops.ai engine for Slack's Sales Home product. As the CEO and Architect of Querki since October 2012, Waks leads efforts in the Small Data Revolution. Previous roles include Senior Staff Engineer at Troops, Principal Software Engineer at Rally Health, and Enterprise Architect at Memento, where Waks contributed to innovative backend solutions and system architecture.
