Carlos Cantone

Carlos Cantone is an experienced professional with a strong background in business development and the coffee industry. Currently serving as the Global Business Development Manager at Slayer Espresso since May 2023, Carlos previously founded and managed a specialty coffee bar, The Den, from August 2020 to May 2023, where innovative marketing strategies were executed to enhance brand visibility and sales. As the founder of Carlos Il Barista from December 2015 to May 2023, Carlos provided consultancy services, leveraging expertise gained in Melbourne and Copenhagen while collaborating with various clients in the coffee sector. Earlier, as the Sales and Development Manager at Casa Tropical in Venezuela, Carlos led the sales initiatives for a German organization, overseeing a commercial strategy plan and a team of 12. Carlos’s career began in the finance department at Diageo, where tax-related processes were improved for greater efficiency. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from UCAB and a Diploma in Marketing from CIAP International.
