Talgat Akhmetov

Talgat Akhmetov has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Planning Lead for Integrated Well Construction at SLB since January 2014. Previous roles include Job Delivery Lead for Lundin Norway and Equinor, as well as Technical Sales Support Engineer. Talgat began with SLB in 2006 as an Engineer in Charge, managing the Aktau cementing department and overseeing a team of over 30 personnel. Responsibilities included the design and evaluation of primary and remedial cementing jobs, technical support for offshore and land projects, and preparation of commercial proposals. Talgat holds an MBA from the University of Warwick and a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Satbayev University.
