Vassilis Varveropoulos

Vassilis Varveropoulos is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software architecture and engineering within Schlumberger since 1997. Currently serving as the Chief Software Architect of Wellsite Operations, Vassilis collaborates with global software centers to create innovative software solutions for wellsite operations. Past roles include Chief Software Architect for the Reservoir Performance Division and Wireline Automation Lead Software Architect, focusing on autonomous operations and system integration. Vassilis also managed engineering teams as the Drilling Systems Architecture Manager, Engineering Program Manager, and Technology Center Engineering Manager, leading the development of advanced drilling and logging technologies. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Real-Time Software Systems and a BEng (Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bradford.
