Alvaro Vargas

Alvaro Vargas is an experienced entrepreneur with a strong background in technology and business leadership. As the Founder and CEO of Slice Payments since January 2022, Alvaro has been instrumental in driving innovation within the payment solutions sector. Previously, Alvaro founded PhoneIQ, serving in that role from 2014 until April 2023. Alvaro's educational background includes studies at Universidad ORT Uruguay from 2010 to 2012 and prior schooling at The British Schools from 2004 to 2009.
