Christine Karshin

Christine Karshin currently serves as the Dean of the College of Health Professions at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania since June 2022. Prior to this role, Christine held various positions at Eastern Michigan University, including Associate Dean, Director of the School of Health Promotion and Human Performance, and Associate Professor, focusing on health education since August 2001. Additional experience includes serving as a Graduate Assistant at Penn State University from August 1998 to August 2001 and as an Instructor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from August 1996 to August 1998. Christine earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University and a Master's degree in Sport Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
