Chelsey Russell

Chelsey Russell has extensive experience in the banking and retail sectors, currently serving as a Banking Officer and Internal Communications Manager at SmartBank since April 2019. In this role, Chelsey leads the development and execution of the internal communications strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities, while also creating engaging content for internal communications. Prior experience includes roles as HR Data Manager and HRIS Administrator, where responsibilities included analyzing HR data for trends and maintaining human resource information systems. Before SmartBank, Chelsey worked at Food City / KVAT Foods Inc. in various management and human resources roles from September 2011 to April 2019. Chelsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earned in 2014.
