Carsten Kneip

Carsten Kneip currently serves as the Director of Localization at Smartsheet, a position held since November 2021. Previously, Carsten was the Sr. Global Program Director at Lionbridge from September 2019 to November 2021. A significant tenure at Microsoft spanned from December 2005 to August 2019, where roles included Sr. Technical Account Manager/Service Delivery Manager, Senior PM Manager, Program Manager, and International Project Manager, focusing on various aspects of product localization and technical support services. Prior experience includes positions at Sinometrics, Inc., Cisco Systems, Inc., and Active Voice, where Carsten managed localization projects and led teams. Carsten holds a Certification in Project Management from the University of Washington and a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Marburg, Germany.
