Julia Mehta

Julia Mehta, M. En., is a Senior Staff Scientist at SMEUSA since October 2022, with a comprehensive background in environmental science. Julia has previously held positions as a Staff Scientist and Project Manager at SLR Consulting from September 2018 to February 2021, and served as a Marketing Coordinator and GIS Technician at Sally Swanson Architects, Inc. in 2018. Prior experience includes working as an Environmental Consultant at Nova Environmental, Inc. and as a Graduate Assistant at Miami University. Julia began a career in environmental work as an intern with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy. Leadership experience includes serving as Chapter President of the Beta Xi Chapter of Delta Gamma at Michigan State University. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from Miami University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from Michigan State University.
