Nick Trego

Nick Trego currently serves as the Consultant Partnerships Director at SmithRx since January 2024. Prior to this role, Trego held multiple leadership positions at HealthPlan Data Solutions, including Senior Vice President of Clinical Analytics and Client Services and Vice President of Account Management from April 2022 to January 2024. At CareSource, Trego was the Associate Vice President of Pharmacy for the Ohio Market between January 2019 and April 2022. Earlier career experiences include roles at Ohio BWC as Pharmacy Program Director and Clinical Operations Manager, as well as at Workers' Comp Pharmacy Benefit Management in various clinical pharmacist capacities. Trego began professional training at Walgreens and Express Scripts as a Pharmacy Intern. Trego earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Ohio Dominican University.
