W. Ryan Dodge is an experienced leader in digital strategy and engagement, currently serving as the Associate Director for Digital Strategy and Engagement at the Smithsonian Institution since July 2024. Previously, Dodge held the position of Chief Digital Officer at Ingenium, where responsibilities included overseeing public-facing digital experiences. At the Canadian Museum of History, Dodge developed long-term digital strategies while serving as the Head of Digital Experiences. Additional roles included managing digital content and community engagement at Museum Computer Network, leading digital and social media initiatives at CBC, and serving as Digital Engagement Strategist at the Royal Ontario Museum, where significant contributions included launching the museum's social media presence and developing its first digital strategy. W. Ryan Dodge possesses a Master’s in Museum Studies from The Johns Hopkins University and undergraduate degrees in History from Dalhousie University.
