Peter Tan Boon Heng

Mr Peter Tan is a Director of SMRT Corporation Ltd. He is presently a Director and the Managing Partner of JP Asia Capital Partners Pte Ltd, and sits on the Boards of Brydge Global Pte. Ltd., ImpacTech Pte. Ltd. and Spindex Industries Limited. He is also Co-Chairman of the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre at A*Star. Mr Tan is also a member of the Governing Board for Singapore Centre for 3D Printing at NTU and a member of the Steering Committee for Digital Manufacturing and Design Centre at SUTD. More recently, he also became a member of the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering EXCO at MTI. He has held senior management roles across a wide range of technology companies, including National Semiconductor Pte Ltd, Molex Singapore Pte Ltd, Apple Computer Inc. and Flextronics International Inc.

Mr Tan held advisory positions in the National University of Singapore B. Tech Programme, MIR Investment Management Ltd, PolyTechnos European Growth Fund 1 and SolarEdge Technologies, Inc (Israel). He was also a Director at Dialog Semiconductor PLC, VAC Luxembourg SARL, Exploit Technologies Pte Ltd and InnoTek Limited, and most recently, the Co-Chairman of the Advanced Manufacturing Taskforce for NRF.

Mr Tan holds a Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Chicago and an Executive MBA from the Golden Gate University, San Francisco.
