Colleen McCormick

Colleen McCormick, MPH, is an experienced sustainability leader currently serving as the Sustainability Lead at SMUD since January 2022, where expertise is applied in implementing the Environmental Sustainability program. Previously, Colleen held several key positions, including Director of Sustainability at UC Davis Health from February 2019 to January 2022, and at UC Merced from December 2014 to February 2019, where initiatives focused on fostering a culture of sustainability across diverse campus communities. Colleen also directed the Office of Sustainability at IUPUI from August 2011 to November 2014, integrating academic, research, and community outreach efforts to promote sustainability. Early career includes roles such as Health Information Project Coordinator at the Regenstrief Institute, Assistant to the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at IUPUI, and Environmental Scientist at ATC Associates. Colleen earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Behavioral Health Science from Indiana University School of Medicine.
