Maria N. currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Snap Finance since February 2023. As the founder of AtherwoodGroup since 2015, Maria specializes in information security, risk, compliance, information technology, and customer success. Previously, Maria held various prominent positions, including CISO at CITCON, a technology advisor at a stealth startup, and roles at PayPal focusing on security architecture and infrastructure engineering, emphasizing secure payment solutions. Additional experience includes leading IT security and compliance at Gymboree, serving as Chief Privacy Officer and Senior Director of Information Security at Blackhawk Network, managing global eCommerce information security at Walmart, and being a Senior Manager of Enterprise IT Security at Gap, Inc.
