Sambit Patra

Sambit Patra is a partner at Bain & Company with more than a decade experience advising industrials (e.g. auto /EV, packaging, metals, agri, chemicals) clients in India across topics related to growth strategy /transformation for founder-driven businesses, B2B digital platform, M&A and post-merger integrations (PMI), and Performance Improvement (PI). He is the Lead for Performance Improvement in India and Head for Metal and Packaging in APAC.

Beyond his professional work, Sambit is passionate about mentoring non-profits and entrepreneurs who seek to create scale impact with the communities that they serve. He has co-authored the Bain - Bridgespan report on “Future of Domestic Philanthropy 2022”.

Sambit earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a graduate degree in B.Tech from BITS, Pilani.
