Ana de Santiago Torio

Team Lead at SNIPR Biome

Ana de Santiago Torio is currently a Team Lead at SNIPR Biome. Ana previously worked as a Lab Manager/Research Support Associate II at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from September 2013 to September 2016.

As a Lab Manager/Research Support Associate II, Ana was responsible for research projects, technical project management, people management, and lab manager duties. Ana also taught as a laboratory instructor for Essentials of Geobiology and served as an Environmental Health and Safety Representative.

Ana's experience and skills have made their an asset to SNIPR Biome, where they currently lead a team in researching and developing new ways to improve the efficiency of agricultural production.

Ana de Santiago Torio has a MA in Biotechnology from Columbia University in the City of New York and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Master of Science (M.S.) in Environmental Sciences from Universidad de Salamanca. Ana also has certification from ETS in TOEFL.
