Megan Kurka

Megan Kurka is a seasoned professional in applied machine learning and data science, currently serving as Principal Applied Machine Learning Engineer at Snorkel AI since October 2024. Prior to this role, Megan held the position of Principal Customer Data Scientist at H2O.ai from July 2016 to August 2024, where responsibilities included leading strategic Generative AI sales initiatives targeted at financial services firms and translating complex business challenges into effective machine learning and AI solutions. Earlier in their career, Megan was a Machine Learning Sales Engineer at H2O.ai and a Data Scientist at Vendavo from January 2013 to July 2016. Additionally, Megan contributed to academia as an Adjunct Lecturer at Hunter College from May 2012 to May 2013, specializing in calculus and numerical methods. Megan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Marist College between 2009 and 2011.
