Yuxiong He

Yuxiong Yuxiong is a Distinguished Engineer at Snowflake, focusing on LLM and Generative AI development and research since December 2023. Previously, Yuxiong held various positions at Microsoft from January 2010 to November 2023, including Partner Research & Product Manager where Yuxiong cofounded and led the DeepSpeed project. Yuxiong also served as Principal Researcher and Research Manager, concentrating on performance optimization in parallel and distributed systems, and as a Senior Researcher with a focus on resource management and performance evaluation. Prior experience includes roles at Intel, Cilk Arts, Sun Microsystems, Google, and Nanyang Technological University, alongside advanced education with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Singapore MIT Alliance and a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
