Arjan Stroo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in ecology and environmental management. Currently serving as Coördinator and Wetenschappelijk Medewerker at Centrum Monitoring Vectoren, NVWA since November 2013, Arjan Stroo is responsible for organizing and executing surveys on ticks, mosquitoes, and midges in the Netherlands. Additionally, Arjan Stroo has been a Reisleider at SNP Natuurreizen BV since 1995, leading global nature excursions. Previous roles include Ecoloog at Dienst Landelijk Gebied from 2007 to October 2013, contributing to Natura 2000 management plans and the Programmatische Aanpak Stikstof (PAS). Earlier experience encompasses entomology work at the European Invertebrate Survey, research on pollen morphology at the Nationaal Herbarium Nederland, and involvement in various biodiversity projects.
