Janne Opmeer

Janne Opmeer possesses extensive experience in energy policy, sustainability, and environmental education. Currently serving as a Beleidsmedewerker Energie en Duurzaamheid at Gemeente Beekdaelen since September 2021 and as the owner of Janne Natuurlijk! since January 2015, Janne focuses on fostering communication, collaboration, and support among stakeholders and community organizations. Previous roles include policy advising in waste management at Gemeente Stein, project management for sustainability and energy transition at Gemeente Leudal, and environmental initiatives at Gemeente Maasgouw. Additionally, Janne has worked as a nature guide with SNP Natuurreizen and managed education and recreational projects at Bezoekerscentrum Leudal. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Biology from Landbouwuniversiteit Wageningen and various professional development courses.
