We believe the mission of SISD is to empower everyone to pursue excellence every day. Snyder ISD serves approximately 2,500 students, employs almost 400 staff members, and is located in Snyder, Texas. 

Snyder is located in the middle of everything -- approximately 90 miles from Lubbock, Abilene, and Midland and about 3 hours from the DFW metroplex. 

From a dual-language program for primary school students to the P-TECH High School, SISD is proud to offer an array of opportunities for both students and educators.

The Educational Staff at Snyder Independent School District is dedicated to fostering academic and personal growth among students. The team includes roles such as Work Based Learning Coordinator, who oversees career and technical education programs; Life Skills Teacher, who supports junior high students in developing essential life competencies; School Counselor, who provides academic and emotional guidance; and Teachers, who deliver curriculum and drive classroom learning. Together, they create a nurturing and empowering environment for approximately 2,500 students.
