Florin Dascalescu is a highly experienced structural engineer with a diverse background in design, structural validation, and project management across various industries. Currently serving as Principal Structural Engineer at Société de Transport de Montréal since September 2020, Florin's previous roles include Sr Structural Engineer and Project Manager at WSP in Canada, Senior Structural Engineer at Show Canada Industries Inc, Senior Engineer at G.C Stage Equipment, and Structural Engineer at Gauthier Consultants - Structoarte. Florin began a career in engineering as a Mechanical Engineer at Köber SRL in Romania. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Optimal Manufacturing Systems and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gheorghe Asachi​ Technical University of Iași.
