Society of Metallurgical Engineers is established at OP Jindal university with an aim to encoruage the Metallurgy/Material Science Engineerging students in terms of research and also keeping them engaed with most happenings in metallurgy. This society helps the young engineers to get connected with metallurgy experts all over the world in clearing their basic industrial doubts and also to make them aware of the latest technolgies developed and adopted all over the world by the metallurgy and materials industries.
