Aram Alexander Namavar, MD MS, is a prominent hospitalist and vice president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Society of Hospital Medicine, actively involved in various committees and initiatives since 2015. Namavar has held numerous leadership roles within the SHM, including resident liaison for the San Diego Chapter and founding the Midwest Medical Student & Resident Hospital Medicine Research Conference. Currently, Namavar serves as a hospitalist at Cedars-Sinai and as an academic hospitalist at the San Diego VA Health Care System, focusing on teaching and supervising resident physicians. Namavar's extensive training includes a Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Science in Global Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology and Physiology from UCLA.
