Samir Shah currently holds multiple positions within the Society of Hospital Medicine, including membership on the Executive Council for the Quality Improvement Special Interest Group and as a Physician Advisor. Additionally, Samir serves as Treasurer for the Society of Hospital Medicine-Indiana Chapter and as the Western Indiana Division Hospitalist Medical Director at Franciscan Physician Network. Since August 2008, Samir has contributed to Franciscan Health in various capacities, including Physician Advisor, Hospitalist, and leadership roles such as Chairman of the Medical Executive Committee and Vice President of the Medical Staff. Notable past positions include Chairman of the Credentials Committee at Franciscan St Elizabeth Health - Lafayette Central and President of the Medical Staff at Franciscan St Elizabeth Health. Samir Shah is pursuing a Master in Healthcare Management (MHCM) at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, having previously earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Hennepin County Medical Center and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Medical College in Vadodara.
