Dan Overbey

Dan often claims the title of problem solver and utility-infielder, despite never being a very avid baseball player. The many hats he has worn in industry give him the ability to jump in and work with diverse teams tackling our clients’ hardest problems, resolve chaos by introducing structure and process, facilitate high-impact meetings, and support all nature of business development efforts.

A political scientist by training, and a risk manager by trade, Dan comes to Aveshka having led work supporting the Intelligence Community as well as the Departments of Defense (DoD), Homeland Security (DHS), and Health and Human Services (HHS). Previously, Dan taught Political Science and coached intercollegiate debate at the United States Naval Academy.

Dan lives in Fairfax, Virginia with his wife (and attorney), two sons who have Black Belts in Taekwondo, and Murphy the Spoodle – which is Australian for Cockapoo.
