Fan Zhang

Fan Zhang, PhD, serves as Senior Director at Solidigm since July 2022, focusing on the R&D and production of advanced technology, including research, architecture, algorithms, and system integration within areas such as machine learning and blockchain. Prior to this, Fan Zhang held several leadership positions at SK hynix memory solutions America Inc. from December 2013 to July 2022, including Senior Director and Director of Advanced Technology, with a focus on developing innovative ML/DL solutions for enterprise storage and performance optimization. Fan Zhang's earlier experience includes roles at LSI Corporation and Texas A&M University, where expertise in signal processing, error correction codes, and statistical modeling was developed. Fan Zhang holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the University of Science and Technology of China.
