Mikel de Irala

Mikel de Irala is an accomplished professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience in operations and project management. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Soltec since September 2024, Mikel previously held the position of Managing Director for Development & New Markets at Renewable Power Capital from June 2021 to September 2024. Mikel's tenure at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) spanned over a decade, where roles included Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa, Technical Manager, and Construction Project Manager, overseeing significant PV projects across various regions. Prior to FRV, Mikel worked as a Strategy and Operation Consultant at Deloitte. Mikel holds an Executive MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Navarra.
