Paul Dobson

Paul has gained a wealth of knowledge within the M&E Building Services Sector, with over 27 years’ experience. He has the unusual mix of design and construction backgrounds. He started in the industry with a large M&E consultancy, developing into a Chartered Engineer. He joined the contracting arm of the sector and progressed through the Engineering and Project Manager’s roles to Operations Manager. He is now the Operations Director for H E Barnes.

His key blue chip clients have included British Land, Land Securities, Vodafone and T-Mobile. All these clients demanded zero defects at Practical Completion and strict on programme and budget completion. He has become an influential leader with a structural approach to project control. Paul also has extensive experience of education projects leading a number of major and demanding projects involving design, construction (both traditional and off-site) of services and finishes. He has gained precise knowledge of the client’s requirements running multiple teams. He is now responsible for all aspects of major project delivery at H E Barnes Ltd.
