Barry Spain

Barry Spain is an accomplished risk management professional with extensive experience in the fintech and banking sectors. Currently serving as Chief Risk Officer at Solvento since July 2024, Barry previously held the same title at Tribal, overseeing credit, fraud, compliance, and enterprise risk functions. Barry's career includes significant roles at HSBC, where responsibilities ranged from Global Head of Analytic Programs in Retail Banking to Regional Head of Analytics for the Americas. Earlier experience includes risk analytics management at Oak Street Mortgage and risk analyst positions at Fifth Third Bank and Provident Bank.
