Scott Wilkinson has held leadership positions in public and private companies in various functional areas including sales, marketing, R&D, and operations over his 35-year career. His diverse background includes expertise in patient marketing, clinical sales, international sales expansion, cost management, product development and lifecycle planning, manufacturing, distribution, restructure, and acquisition/integration. He served at Inogen, a market leader in home respiratory products, in a variety of commercial leadership roles over 15 years, including President & CEO. Scott is a recognized expert in the emerging area of direct response patient marketing and led sustained revenue growth from $10 million to over $350 million during his Inogen tenure. His experience at Inogen includes leading a private company through an IPO process and managing the transition to a publicly traded company.
Scott has additional leadership experience at Invacare, Johnson & Johnson, and Kimberly-Clark which helped him develop a deep understanding of homecare and acute care markets on a global level. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Akron and received his MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. He also serves on the foundation board of directors at University Hospital – Parma in suburban Cleveland, OH.
