Marcos Bernardo

Marcos Bernardo is an experienced Project Engineer currently working at Sonamet Yard since June 2019, involved in projects for major clients such as TotalEnergies and Chevron. Responsibilities include the construction of offshore structures, fabrication project management, and methods engineering, focusing on the design and transportation of heavy structures. Previous roles have included project fabrication engineer for the Kaombo SPS Project and Kaombo SURF, where operational logistics, project execution, and safety standards were managed. Earlier experience at Sonamet included conducting pressure tests and cleaning at production jumpers and manifolds. Marcos holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum & Offshore Engineering from Amet University Chennai, completed in 2014.
