David Harron

David Harron is a seasoned solutions architect currently with SONI - System Operator for Northern Ireland, where responsibilities include planning future IT capabilities to facilitate the transformation of the Northern Ireland power system. Previously, David served as a solutions architect at EirGrid Group and held various roles at SONI Ltd, including power system applications analyst, application developer, and EIP workstream lead, focusing on the management and delivery of a new all-island EMS database. David's earlier experience includes development roles at Viatrace and e-blana enterprise group, as well as a support consultant position at PACE Ltd. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast and a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ulster University.
