Eric van Den Berg

Eric van den Berg currently serves as Group CIO at Sonova Group, a global leader in hearing aids, since September 2024. Prior to this role, Eric held the position of Group CIO at Clariant for six years, overseeing a top-quartile IT organization that drove digitalization globally while largely outsourcing commodity IT services. Previously, Eric worked at ABB as Group Head of IT Strategy, Architecture & Innovation, where responsibilities included IT strategy development and investment allocation. Eric also served as Group CIO at Geberit, directing a globally innovative IT organization and managing a broad portfolio of projects. Earlier career experience includes positions as IT Director for Europe at Zimmer, Director of Business Applications at Gate Gourmet, IT Manager at SGI, Project Leader at Erelee Consultants, and Application Developer at DSC. Eric's educational background includes studies at Utrecht and Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
