Stephen Russo

Stephen Russo is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in the music industry. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and CFO of the US Frontline Label Group at Sony Music Entertainment since 2024, Russo previously held multiple senior leadership positions at Columbia Records, where responsibilities included overseeing financial operations and strategic initiatives from 2005 to 2024. Additionally, Russo acted as an advisor for GrooveList and served as a judge and mentor in the Stadia Ventures Accelerator Program. Prior experience includes treasurer for Big Time Rush Touring, overseeing significant concert tours, and various roles at Sony Music Entertainment dating back to 1994, including Vice President of U.S. Label Finance and involvement in the Sony BMG merger. Russo's educational credentials include a BS in Economics from The Wharton School, an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, and executive education from Harvard Business School in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports.
