Umesh Kaipenchery

Umesh Kaipenchery has extensive experience in sales and strategy within the media and entertainment industry. Currently serving as the National Sales Head for SonyLIV at Sony Pictures Networks India since February 2017, Umesh has held multiple leadership roles including National Sales Head for Emerging Business and Regional Head for SonyLIV. Prior to this, Umesh was a Manager in Sales & Strategy at Saavn from January 2015 to February 2017 and worked at Yahoo in a similar capacity from August 2011 to January 2015. Umesh started the career as Assistant Manager in Sales & Strategy at CyberMedia and briefly interned at Wockhardt Hospitals Ltd. Umesh holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the Institute of Business Management and Research, completing the degree in June 2010.
