Joe Hollywood

Joe Hollywood is a Consultant at Sophelle. Joe previously worked as Manager of Store Systems at Big M Inc. from July 1997 to May 2014. Joe was responsible for 135 stores and the 3-division point of sale department. Joe's duties included managing the help desk and personnel, developing and maintaining staging, installation, and training documents, and managing the implementation of new store openings including hardware, software, communication, documentation, and training requirements. In 2012, they managed the implementation and rollout of Epicor Store 6 POS Store System, which included POS, hardware, data collect, tax tables, PLU/update/Promo files, and store parameter files. Joe also has knowledge of Epicor's Application Builder tool. In addition, they managed the implementation and rollout of SAP/Triversity system, which included functional specifications, POS, hardware, data collect, tax tables, PLU/update/Promo files, and store parameter files. Joe also has knowledge of Triversity's Configurator tool. Additionally, Joe directed the chain-wide automated markdown tag labeling system roll out that utilized Avery Dennison Monarch Ultra handheld computer Markdown Guns. Joe also managed the Gift card program implementation from functional specifications through implementation. Furthermore, they directed the chain-wide implementation of store VPN communication network including installation procedures and home office support systems. Joe took part in the RFP and vendor selection. Lastly, they implemented PCI mandated changes at store level to ensure data security and encryption standards were met and managed the secure storage requirements for store data at host.

Joe Hollywood attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
