Giorgia Riboldi-Tunnicliffe

Giorgia Riboldi-Tunnicliffe is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of genetics and biotechnology, currently serving as the Subject Matter Expert Director for LATAM & APAC at SOPHiA GENETICS since April 2018, where previous roles included Senior Subject Matter Manager and Interim Sr Regional Sales Director. Prior to this, Giorgia provided market intelligence as a Marketing Consultant from 2016 to 2018 and held product marketing and application specialist positions at Illumina and Life Technologies, respectively. Giorgia’s career began in academia as a PhD student and progressed through various roles in bioinformatics and application support. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Information Technologies from the University of Glasgow, a Dr rer nat in Molecular Biology from Friedrich Schiller University Jena, and a Laurea in Biology from Università di Pavia.
