Luuk van Aalst

Luuk van Aalst is an experienced educational leader currently serving as a member of the College van Bestuur at Stichting Speciaal Onderwijs Twente en Oost Gelderland (SOTOG) since February 2024. Previously, Luuk worked as a senior advisor at B&T from January 2017 to February 2024, focusing on strategic projects for school boards and partnerships in foundational education. Luuk held the role of director at IJssel | Berkel from August 2013 to September 2018, overseeing a collaborative network dedicated to inclusive education for 26 school boards and 108 primary education schools. Additional experience includes leadership roles in various educational organizations, such as WSNS regio Zutphen and SWV Lichtenvoorde, and teaching positions at de Plakkenberg. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Executive Master of Management in Education from TIAS School for Business and Society, mediation certification, and several leadership and teaching credentials.
